“You Waited”

One day I’ll see you again, but not yet. There’s still work to do, art to make, love to give. Until then, I’ll keep creating things that honor you, and the love you freely gave to everyone you met.

October 27, the beginning of Día de los Muertos. I lit a candle for Booberry on our ofrenda. Strangely, his framed photo in the stairway fell this morning while we were all asleep. I like to think he’s visiting… though honestly, it feels like he never left. Probably still chillin’ in his favorite spot on the couch, helping me keep these new puppies in check. ❤️

This print was hand carved into linoleum, then pressed on to handmade Nepalese Lokta paper with oil based black ink.
